DockRestater is a free AppleScript which restarts your Dock menu.

It has couple of install modes. You can use the install package which places a new script into the Apple Scripts directory into the Dock Scripts folder. You can also use the 'Dock Restarter 3' package which you can find inside the distribution disk image.

Both of the provided scripts do their job very well. This kind of applications are useful if your Dock menu gets stuck. It never happened to me, but you never know.

Pluses: it allows you to easily restart the Dock menu.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: if you had issues with the Dock menu which got stuck, and you don't want to restart the whole Finder in order to fix this, then this application is a good helper.
